The countdown for summer is here. The radio is talking about the state fair, the stores are full of back to school and the days are getting just a little shorter. Where did the time go? It was our first summer on the lake and I still have so much left that I want to do!
But there are only 1,440 minutes in each day.
I’m always trying to strike a deal with time. I only need a little bit more each day, just a few more minutes, maybe an hour here or there. But what I know is that there’s never enough time and time is not a deal maker.
Time is constant. You can’t “find” more time, you can’t “make” more time, you can’t “create” more time. No matter how you clock it there are still only 1,440 minutes in each day.
Life lesson: You can only choose how you use time.
So I try to make peace with time and make intentional decisions. Right now I think it’s time for a short paddle before the rain moves in!
