Woke up to 5 inches of new snow “dense and supportive” according to the snow phone. Grabbed our gear and headed out to end this trip at Moonlight Basin. It was really busy when we arrived, but as the snow came down harder and harder it got quieter and quieter on the slopes. It snowed so hard that it was filling in our tracks each run. All afternoon we had fresh tracks down the gladed tree runs that we love. Our chair lift mate summed it up so well. “I can’t believe that after 4 1/2 weeks of skiing you are still so passionate and excited about skiing. You must really love it!”
