Nordic walkers enjoy better posture, improved core strength, increased overall fitness and better balance. Step up to the new way to walk with two simple poles. Linda Lemke, The Nordic Walking Queen, will provide an introduction to the history and benefits of Nordic Walking followed by instruction on safe and effective Nordic Walking technique. This 3 part class will offer lots of personal attention to help you become confident with the poles. Nordic Walking poles will be available for use during the class. Please dress for the weather, wear good walking shoes and do not bring valuables to class as we will be going outdoors to walk with the poles. Enter the gym at the the Fitness Center doors
