It's always more fun to walk with a group! Join us for this series of free community walks supported by the Big Lake Parkinson's Support Group. We all know that moving and being active is the one thing we can all do to stay healthy and maintain our quality of life. Nordic Walking is an easy and fun way to keep moving everyday. Benefits include a more upright balanced posture, improved overall fitness with low rate of perceived exertion, increased mobility and less pain while walking. A short introduction to beginning technique for using the poles will be provided for any new walkers and poles will be provided for all walks. Walkers of all levels and interest are invited and encouraged to attend. We will plan to walk for an hour. You will be encouraged to walk a pace and distance that is comfortable for you. Wear good walking shoes and dress for the weather. Questions? Contact Linda Lemke
